I am not sure that is actually relevant, but then I *do* think everyone should read E.L. Newport and M.H. Christiansen. I'm quite interested in the area, but have yet to do very much about it, because I lack the multidisciplinary "leg up". I knew the area wasn't very developed within linguistics, yet I had no idea, there had been a ban on discussing the topic - was France just an extreme example or did the ban stifle the debate all over?
